The Venture Café community, committed to the mission of “Connecting Innovators to Make Things Happen,” has brought about numerous “Happenings” in the past. This session is designed to introduce newcomers to our bi-weekly signature event on every 2nd and 4th Wednesday, “YOKOHAMA CONNÉCT” and facilitates networking among first-time attendees (Beginners). 概要 | Description：

まず初めにドイツ語圏(DACH)の一国であるオーストリアの産業とスタートアップエコシステムをわかりやすく案内します。

次に今年のGO TOKYOプログラムに選別され、10月9日に東京で開催されるTechBIZKON Xで登壇するオーストリアのLifeTECHスタートアップを紹介しながらGO TOKYOのプログラムを説明します。

最後に5月18~22日にウィーンで開催される中央ヨーロッパ最大のスタートアップイベント「Vienna’UP 2026」を紹介。ヨーロッパのみならず世界各国のスタートアップ、VC、アクセラレーターが集まり、数多くのピッチ、ネットワーキング、セミナーが開催されます。

This presentation provides an overview of the sports business, which has attracted global attention in recent years, and explains the benefits and returns of becoming a sponsor, illustrated with concrete examples.

From tradition to tomorrow ~Sharing Japanese Culture Through Social Media~

This project addresses the decline of Japanese traditional culture, focusing on ceramics. By using social media, online classes, and e-commerce, we aim to share culture with young and overseas audiences and transform tradition from "protected" to "supported together".

From Ordering to Cultural Experience

This project proposes a multilingual mobile ordering system that combines ordering support with Japanese cultural experiences. It helps foreign visitors understand the background of Japanese food and turns dining into a meaningful cultural experience.

You are not alone

I propose a business plan to enrich the lives of retirees by creating opportunities for new social communities, helping to prevent isolation and build a sense of connection and belonging.

Mobile Shops for an aging society

The mobile shop delivers clothes, food, and daily necessities to elderly people who have difficulty shopping. It also connects Japan and the world by offering overseas clothes in Japan and Japanese functional clothing abroad.

地域の生態系と生活文化を未来へつなぐ Nature Positive Living Lab

— デザインは、自然と人の関係をどう編み直せるか

サステナビリティは、 素材やプロダクトの循環だけでは完結しません。 その土地の自然、生態系、そして人の暮らしと、 どのように関係を結び直すかが問われています。

本セッションでは、 伊豆大島をフィールドに展開されている 「Nature Positive Living Lab」を事例に、 アートとデザインが 生物多様性・地域文化・生活をどのようにつなぎ直しているのかを探ります。

武蔵野美術大学とWELAGOによる共同研究では、 未利用材の活用、外来種との共生、 そして地域の声から未来のコンセプトを育てる取り組みが進められています。

自然を「守る対象」としてではなく、 共に生き、共につくり続けるパートナーとして捉えたとき、 サステナビリティは思想から、 日常の実践へと変わっていきます。

Description：

This session examines how existing Japanese therapeutic pathways, including ASRM and adjacent frameworks, can deliver earlier approvals than the US route, and how that early Japanese clinical data can be bridged back into the FDA process. For Japan-based biotech startups, this sequencing is a structural advantage that remains under-exploited.

We'll also look at what other jurisdictions like the UK, Singapore & the UAE, are doing to compress time-to-patient and push the regulatory frontier, and why this competition for frontier medicine is rapidly becoming a defining axis of national biotech strategy.

We aim to select a few companies as examples for regulatory pathways alternatives. We welcome companies to submit a short description of their therapy and challenges and contact details to revise them. We will be in touch with the selected therapies. This exercise will not be legal advice, rather will serve as examples to guide the attendees in new ways of thinking about strategies of going to market early with real-life examples.
