"GLOBAL INNOVATION NIGHT IN YOKOHAMA" is a recurring event series held as part of the Yokohama Startup Visa program, dedicated to connecting global founders and innovators within the local startup ecosystem.
For our 7th edition, we are bringing together top-tier innovators under the theme: "From Heavy Tech to Daily Workflows: How Service Design Shapes the Future of AI."
We are excited to showcase two visionary AI entrepreneurs with distinct yet complementary business models:

Arturo Klie focuses on deploying AI to drive operational efficiency in heavy industries, addressing the critical intersection of industrial scaling and long-term environmental sustainability.

Luis Daniel Guzman takes a highly practical, workflow-oriented approach, sharing insights on how businesses can seamlessly integrate AI into their daily operations to supercharge productivity and decision-making.
Joining them on stage is US-Japan service designer Mizuho Maeda, based in Japan and San Francisco. Bringing fresh design philosophies and the latest Silicon Valley trends in "AI & Service Design (UX)," she will share how raw AI capability must be transformed into human-centered user experiences to successfully scale globally.
Together, we will explore how these different AI models—from heavy enterprise to daily tasks—converge through design to create real human value. デザイン思考を軸とする新規事業開発を得意とするサービスデザイナー。2020年、経済産業省・JETRO主催の起業家育成プログラム「始動 Next Innovator」でのファイナリスト選出をきっかけに、前職のパナソニックで事業案が正式に採択され、約2年チームリーダーとして社内で推進。その後、東京とサンフランシスコに拠点を置くデザイン会社btraxのサービスデザインリードとして、年の約半分をサンフランシスコで過ごしながら、企業の新規事業開発の支援や、日米両国で開催するデザイン思考研修のファシリテーターを務める。2026年8月よりカリフォルニア大学バークレー校デザイン修士課程に進学予定。
