概要 | Description：
Japan has world-class research, technologies, professional expertise, and industrial capabilities. Increasingly, the challenge is to turn these strengths into businesses that create real value for society and ultimately lead to industries.
Moving from innovation to impact often requires people who can bridge different worlds: expertise and business, startups and corporations, local communities and global networks, and innovators and the people who ultimately use their solutions.
This session brings together three perspectives on that challenge: an entrepreneur bringing medical and scientific expertise into practice; an innovation ecosystem connecting entrepreneurs, companies, governments, and global networks; and a city-scale platform bringing together companies, government, citizens, and organizations through initiatives such as GREEN×EXPO 2027.
Together, we will explore what it actually takes to move from research and technology into real-world impact and industrial growth.
What kinds of people and partnerships are needed to bridge expertise and business? What role can global networks play? And how can cities such as Yokohama create environments where different actors can experiment, collaborate, and turn promising ideas into real-world impact?
